Hot Rods: Wheels in Fields

April 5th, 2014 @ the Heidrick Ag History Center

Cruise in for Wheels in Fields, a new exhibit featuring hot rods at the Heidrick Ag History Center. Drive in your own classic vehicle to showcase, meet other vehicle owners and enthusiasts, and enjoy iconic vintage hot rods. Imagine roaring through California fields in these 1930’s speedsters, as you learn the history interweaving hot rods and agriculture!

The hot rod exhibit marks the grand opening of the East Wing, so we’re celebrating with vintage cars, music, and gourmet food trucks. If you haven’t sat behind the wheel of a classic hot rod, bring your camera to capture all the excitement. Own a classic automobile, tractor or other vehicle? Drive your vehicle into the museum to display for the afternoon and be one of the stars of the show. Hang out with other classic vehicle supporters, and enjoy farm fresh comfort food as you sway to rocking jams.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first Saturday of April. General admission is $10, $5 if you’re a museum member or bring your own vehicle to the event. Tickets are available at the door or online at http://aghistoryevent.bpt.me. For more information visit us on the web at aghistory.org or call the Heidrick Ag History Center at 530.666.9700.

We hope you’ll support the museum by becoming a member and dropping by often to see the new exhibits that will continue to expand your experience and further your interpretation of agriculture. The museum has more thrills in store for 2014, so be sure to check out our website or follow us on Facebook at Heidrick.Ag.
